RCIA TEAM MEMBER
RCIA team members are practicing Catholics who attend weekly RCIA sessions and accompany those who wish to become Catholic. Team members serve as role models, regularly talk with the participants of RCIA and offer support along their spiritual journey. Team members might also serve as presenters or facilitators of weekly sessions if they desire.

Time Commitment: Meets on Thursday evenings from 7 – 8:30 pm, usually three weeks per month. Attendance at each meeting preferred, but not required.

RELIGIOUS EDUCATION CATECHIST/VOLUNTEER
Religious Education classes meet on Saturday mornings from 9:00 a.m. until 10:30 am. We always need teachers for grades K-Confirmation to teach and aid in the spiritual growth of the students who attend Religious Education classes. You do not need to have a teaching degree or certificate to teach. Mentoring and workshops are available for those who are new to teaching Religious Education.
Our Religious Education program is always looking for volunteers to help with weekly classes, special events and classroom projects. Volunteers of all ages are welcome to help teachers out in the classrooms every Saturday. Adult volunteers are required to attend an Archdiocesan program on child safety.

SACRAMENTAL PREP TEAMS
These ministries include two teams of volunteers to assist the Director of Faith Formation and Education with the preparation required for the following sacraments
Baptismal Preparation: Couples who prepare the parents/godparents for the baptism of their child and answer the faith formation questions.
Marriage Preparation: Couples facilitate one of four sessions scheduled for engaged couples participating in our One in Christ PreCana program.

Time Commitment:
Baptismal Prep meets for 1.5 hours each month – teams rotate throughout the year (generally two or three meetings per year.)
Marriage Prep occurs once in the spring and the fall. Each couple facilitates one of four sessions that make up the program. Sessions are 2 hours.
Duration of Commitment: One year
