When will school resume?
We don’t know L We will adhere to guidelines put forward by the City of Chicago and the Illinois State Board of Ed. We will send out information AS SOON AS WE KNOW! We can’t wait to see you!
What if my Eagle is falling behind? What if my Eagle can’t complete all the work assigned by his or her teacher?
PLEASE, don’t worry. We can help! This is a difficult time for everyone and that includes YOU and our Eagles. Complete what you can, contact your child’s teacher for guidance, and stay healthy – physically, emotionally and mentally!
Are there plans to make up missed events?
It depends. If we can arrange something virtually, we will try our best to commemorate an annual event this way! For example, this year’s Spiritual Olympcis will be conducted virtually. Some things we will have to reschedule when we can be back in person, like First Holy Communion and Confirmation. We will try to keep everyone updated in a timely way!
I have an 8th grader. Now what?
Ugh! We are going to do our best to make sure they feel honored and give them a proper farewell! In the meantime, we are thrilled that all our Eagles have been accepted to a high school and have solid plans for the coming year.
This crisis has hit us hard financially. Can you help with tuition?
What about Volunteer Hours and Fundraising Commitments?
Please do not worry about volunteer hours. Hard to expect this when we can’t see you! As for fundraising, we will still have our Glimmer Auction online this year. Please consider participating so that we can continue to fundraise during this crisis. However, we will certainly will be flexible with end of the year amounts.
What about Summer Camp?
We want NOTHING MORE (well maybe a return to school this year) than to kick off Camp without a hitch and on time on June 10th. If we need to start on a later date, or cancel all together we will be prorating or refunding any camp fees.
